SUMMARY:Menopause Workshop
DESCRIPTION:💜 Breast Friends and Family are offering local breast cancer patients who are suffering from menopausal symptoms as a result of treatment for breast cancer\, the opportunity to attend a menopause workshop\, led by breast cancer nurse specialist Linda Hammel. \n💜 Linda will be talking about the management of menopause symptoms related to cancer treatment\, and will give an introduction to ‘menopause and cancer’ literature. \n💜 Kellie Girdwood will then lead a session about the specific benefits of menopause massage and will be teaching those attending about self help acupressure and relaxation techniques. \n💜 The final session of the afternoon will be a sound bath lead by Tracey\, this will be tailored to harmonise the body and induce positive sleep as well as being relaxing and rejuvenating. \n💜 There are 10 spaces available for this workshop\, but booking is required\, please message to secure your space. \n💜 The workshop is fully funded by Breast Friends and Family but donations are always welcome.
